Wild Belonging Women’s Circle is a transformative, year-long journey designed to deepen our sense of connection, interdependence and authenticity even in these divisive times. This intimate space offers a supportive community where women explore four essential dimensions of belonging: Belonging to Ourself, Others, Our Heritage, and the Earth. Together, we weave stories, creativity, and self-expression into an immersive experience that celebrates the power of belonging.
Through four powerful modules—Belonging to Self, Belonging to Others, Belonging to Our Heritage, and Belonging to the Earth—we will journey together in community to rediscover our roots, reclaim our wildness, and awaken the profound interconnectedness that is woven through all of life.
Wild Belonging is a call to come home. Together, we can create a sanctuary where healing, growth, and belonging are possible—even in the midst of chaos. If you’re ready to return to your truest self, reconnect with others, and create a life aligned with the wisdom of the Earth and the cosmos, this circle is waiting for you.
Module Overview:Each module will be an in-depth exploration of the theme over the course of 3 months. At the beginning of each module, you will receive a packet of resources that include a variety of invitations to engage your personal exploration of belonging. We will gather monthly in person at Stillwood Pond Retreat and Studio just out of Salisbury, NC.
Module Structure: Month 1: An Exploration Myth, Story or a Reading to deepen our understanding of the module theme. • Month 2: A Creative Circle to express ourselves in community through creative visual art practices to embody your sense of self-belonging.• Month 3: A Writing Circle focusing on poetry, journaling, or storytelling prompts to express your Wild Belonging.
Module 1. Belonging to Oneself The first step toward creating a life of Wild Belonging is learning to deeply connect with and belong to your authentic self. In a world that constantly demands you to conform or perform, this circle offers a space where you can reconnect with your inner truth, embrace your uniqueness, and trust your own wisdom. When you belong to yourself, you can navigate the challenges of life with clarity, strength, and confidence.
Module 2. Belonging to Others In these divisive times, learning how to connect with others in a meaningful, healthy way is more important than ever. Wild Belonging shows us that true intimacy doesn’t require losing ourselves. It teaches us how to build relationships based on mutual trust, respect, and support—without sacrificing our individuality. This is a space where deep connection and personal freedom can coexist, creating a community that uplifts and strengthens one another.
Module 3. Belonging to Our Heritage To heal and thrive in these challenging times, we must also look back. Wild Belonging invites us to honor our ancestral roots and the wisdom that flows through our lineage. Our ancestors lived in harmony with the Earth’s cycles and understood the power of community and connection. By remembering them, we reclaim a sense of belonging to something greater than ourselves—a deep, unbroken thread that guides us forward with strength and purpose.
Module 4. Belonging to the Earth and the Cosmos In this final module, we return to the Earth, our most ancient and enduring connection. Our disconnection from the Earth and the natural world has led to imbalance. The Earth, the seasons, the moon, the stars—all these forces support us and are an integral part of who we are. Wild Belonging invites us to realign with the natural cycles that guide and sustain us. When we reconnect to the Earth’s rhythms, we tap into a source of wisdom and renewal that helps us navigate these turbulent times with grace and clarity.
