On April 11, Creative SoulCraft hosted its 12-Hour Peace Walk & Vigil at Stillwood Pond Retreat and Studio, welcoming twenty participants throughout the day who gathered in a shared commitment to peace, presence, and community.
The event was created as a living expression of the belief that lasting peace begins within each individual and extends outward through mindful action, compassion, and connection. From sunrise to sunset, participants walked the trails around the pond, sat in quiet vigil by the fire, shared stories, and spent time communing with nature and one another.
The fire burned throughout the day as a symbol of our collective intention and enduring commitment to sustainable peace. Some participants walked in silence, reflecting on their own journeys, while others engaged in heartfelt conversations about hope, healing, and the ways peace can be cultivated in everyday life.
Surrounded by the beauty of Stillwood Pond, the gathering offered a space to slow down, listen deeply, and remember our interconnectedness. The woodland trails, tranquil waters, and shared presence of community created an atmosphere of reflection and renewal.
The day concluded with a gratitude circle, where participants expressed appreciation for the opportunity to gather across different backgrounds and experiences in service of a common purpose. Together, we affirmed that peace is not merely an ideal, but a practice—one nurtured through awareness, intention, and our willingness to walk alongside one another.
Creative SoulCraft extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and helped sustain a continuous presence throughout the twelve-hour vigil. May the spirit of this gathering continue to inspire acts of peace, compassion, and mindful living in our communities and beyond.
