Dancing With Lilith

Journey with me over the next year, Dancing With Lilith: Reclaiming the fierce feminine parts of ourselves that have been cast into darkness by our shadow patriarch within.   

Through gathering monthly with a group of deeply spiritual women we will dance with Lilith, the first female that was cast into darkness in the mythology surrounding her and in turn welcome her back into the light. We will welcome the parts of our feminine essence that have been maligned and cast out as we have lived our lives in this patriarchal culture. We will also shine the torch into the shadows to see how our inner patriarch continues to impact our lives deeply.

Let’s join hands to form a circle which expands each time a woman awakens to the call within her to fully embody all her feminine nature. In community we will create, share stories, move to music, experience the power of poetry and more. 

How will it work?

To begin the year, you will receive a resource packet with a list of suggested readings and an introduction to our exploration for the year. Each month around the second week of the month, I will send out an email filled with goodies to open the door to our monthly exploration. The email will include an introduction to the theme for the month, specific suggested readings for the month, poetry, music, and prompts for engaging your creativity thru visual art, writing and more.

Each month on the 3rd Tuesday of the month we will gather in community via a live Zoom session to share our stories, reflect on what is stirring, create, and set intentions. Our compass for the journey is not historical data. Nor is it archeological evidence. Our compass is an artistic compilation of women’s encounters with Lilith. Some are grounded in research, some in lived experience, some in poetry, and others painted or sung. All were birthed by trusting the inner voice we’ve been to often conditioned to ignore. To this compilation we will add our own stories, poems, art and more as we encounter Lilith during our year long journey. 

All sessions will be recorded and accessible until March of 2024.
